Mr Sommerville Bendigo Win Video

Great result with Mr Sommerville yesterday at Bendigo. Wonderful ride to get the horse in the right spot on the corner and he really let down in nice fashion from the 300m. patience by Malua and the team really paying off now.
Well done to all.

Brad Spicer sent through the following video update on one of our new horses, TOKUGAWA:

Mr Sommerville Post Race

Great to see a big turn out of BMRC members at Kilmore yesterday, weather was poor but we all got through.
Thought Mr Sommerville ran well, too far back in the run sadly, so a long way off the leaders coming to the turn, the day was dominated by horses on the pace so to run home as well as he did I thought was first class.
Jockey report is attached and John ‘s report follows as well as the replay.
Next run could be the 0-64 at Bendigo on Bendigo Cup Day Wednesday 30th October at 1600m.

Bryan Martin

Morning Guys,

Well we headed to Kilmore yesterday and this guy put in quite a good returning run. Tom, in his post race interview, said that he managed to get shuffled back to pair further than he really wanted to. I think this cost us finishing a couple of lengths closer. Our boy still hit the line very well and I really think that the Kilmore track is not ideal for such a large striding horse. He left a little bit of feed overnight but nothing to even worry about.

As soon as we pick out his next assignment I will let you guys know!
