Prior:
Video clip of our guy having a leisurely stroll around the sand track at Flemington can be SEEN HERE

Human League:
This guy has now returned to Malua Flemington and is in fantastic shape. He looks fantastic and he is now up and doing his pacework. Anybody wanting to pop down and see him give me a shout out and we can arrange a time. All being well he should be ready for a trial in 3-4 weeks time.

Shock Value & Prior Updates

Shock Value:
Disappointing again on Saturday and I am at a loss as to why he has lost form. He is looking fantastic as he prepares for his race but is racing below par. Saturday he got the trail in behind and the boy rode him well and the rail position was not a disadvantage.
David Hayes has sent his report and has told me he will sort the horse out in the next few weeks, he is of the opinion the horse is not putting in and is bludging. Well the horse is on notice!!

Prior:
Saw this fellow at the stables Sunday and he looks very well, he got sunburnt while spelling but that will not be a problem 30+ works! Looking forward to him getting back and carrying the side!

Mr Sommerville & Human League Update

From Malua Racing & Troy Corstens:

Mr Sommerville :
Mr Sommerville is going great, he is far more settled this preparation and is eating really well, his work has been stepped up and should be doing some evens or pace work early next week.

Human League :
HUMAN LEAGUE’S preparation is progressing well, he is now fully settled in and is enjoying his work, Human League will start faster work next Wednesday and I look forward to seeing how much he has improved since his break.

Shock Value Pre-Race Conditions

Shock Value:
Race 6 horse No. 2 at 4.00pm. Ready for tomorrow, track is dead and the rail is out 10m. rain expected today and tomorrow so we would prefer less rain, he has acted on a slow track at Moonee Valley earlier this year.
Drawn barrier 1 in a field of 14. The race seems devoid of speed/pace and our horse likes to get out and go. There seems to be speed from no. 10 Youbolt drawn barrier 6. Hopefully the rider can get some cover behind those going forward and get a good spot, Shock Value was used too much in the lead last run and stopped and we don’t want a repartition of his last run. David’s voice track from yesterday was not one of great confidence for this run and he is saying 4 th and 5th runs will see him at his peak. Winning chances in the race 5-3-12
We will be at the stall area from 3.00 pm and we will organise ticketing from there. Good luck.

Shock Value Racing Sat @ Flemington

Shock Value:
Running Saturday at Flemington. He is rated a 93 horse now, we thought he would be given around 56.5- 56kg and we would engage a senior rider and we had engaged Michael Rodd to ride yesterday but the handicapper has compressed the weights and given us 58kg on a 54 limit. 58 is too tough on this horse so we have gone back to Chad Schofield who claims 1.5kg so we will carry 56.5. Have stipulated in discussions with Rob Gray owner/breeder we would like the horse to try and sit off the pace and not be the bunny.

Prior Update

Prior (NZ):
This guy did very well on his break and has now retuned to work. It wont take us too long to get him back up and to the track for you guys. It will be great to see how far in distance we can get him out over this preparation. I really feel he will come right into his own once we get him out over the 2000m+.

Shock Value Audio Update

Shock Value: Has got through the Caulfield race with no problems, he is going to get plenty of work between now and his next start which probably will be the 15th December at Flemington over 1200m. his rating is down to 93 so he will get some weight relief. I want to push for a senior rider next run, this horse was too strong for Schofield last Saturday and we are not going to win races charging as hard as he went last start. There is nothing in terms of races for Shock Value at Moonee Valley for a good while.
